Beginning and Intermediate Algebra with Applications & Visualization (3rd Edition)

Beginning and Intermediate Algebra with Applications & Visualization (3rd Edition) by Gary K Rockswold (Author), Terry A Krieger (Author). The Rockswold/Krieger algebra series fosters conceptual understanding by utilizing related purposes and visualization to show college students why math matters. It solutions the widespread question “When will I ever use this?” Rockswold teaches college students the mathematics in context, slightly than together with the functions on the end of the presentation. By seamlessly integrating significant purposes that include actual knowledge and supporting visuals (graphs, tables, charts, colors, and diagrams), college students are capable of see how math impacts their lives as they learn the concepts. The authors imagine this strategy deepens conceptual understanding and higher prepares students for future math programs and life.

This textbook is more than what I expected. It's what the College of Phoenix uses with their beginning and intermediate math classes. The authors are quite thorough and supply examples with options to help the reader perceive the contents of their book. I do not do nicely with math, let alone algebra; however, I extremely recommend this textbook.

I recommend getting this ebook if that is your textbook for your Algebra class. I'm studying online and I don't find the PDF chapters to be straightforward to check the math from. It was simpler for me to have the e-book to page through. The authors are very good at explaining learn how to do the problems and showing how we use math in our on a regular basis lives.

The guide was marketed as NEW, yet it's missing the disks that value but an extra $140. Here I assumed I'd be SAVING money for the upcoming term. Would dwell to return or not less than get the disks that SHOULD have already been enclosed at no cost.
